Elele Alimini Residents Raise Alarm Over Absence of Functional Hospital Elele Alimini, Rivers State Residents of Elele Alimini community have raised alarm over the absence of a functional healthcare facility in the area, describing the situation as dangerous, life-threatening, and long overdue for government intervention. Speaking with our correspondent, Akahomen Miracle , residents expressed frustration over the lack of hospitals, medical equipment, and qualified healthcare personnel in the community. They said the situation has forced residents, including pregnant women and the elderly, to seek medical care outside the community. One resident narrated how the absence of a hospital compelled her to rely on a local chemist during childbirth, a situation she described as extremely risky. According to her, many residents are forced to travel long distances to Port Harcourt, Bayelsa, Emgbuma, and Ahoada to access medical services, a development she said has endangered lives ...
